This is the day we spent in various waiting rooms, seeing numerous specialists and discovering every corner of the LUMC. Zones, floors, clinics, wards, chemists, lifts, stairwells with interesting numbers…

the list goes on…

So to cut a long day short, we visited the nuclear medicine department for a bone scan, then the gynaecologist for a consultation, the oncologist for information, planning and bloods, cardiology for an ECG, the social support worker, the chemist for prescriptions & the restaurant for sustenance.

How a day of shuffling around and sitting about waiting can be so tiring is quite bizarre.

..and what’s more, we’ve got it all to look forward to again tomorrow…and the next day…
